I don't know if it's been mentioned here this week (I admit to not paying
much attention), but there's a piece on the new head of Henry Holt
publishing in the "Talk of the Town" section of this week's New Yorker.
This piece states that, in addition to the rights Salman Rushdie's next
book and his paperback catalog, Henry Holt recently purchased the rights to
Pynchon's next novel, which will be published next spring. Does anyone
know if this is accurate.
