Forgive me, but this seems awfully simplistic.

Suspect there is more than one capitalist--even of the unabashed variety--on the p-list. The age spread would make it near inevitable, wouldn't it?

Don't deny Andrew has a perfect right to think his interpretation best. 

Personally I dislike any book with an indisputable "point" to it.
