According to a study mentioned in the Los Angleles Times about two weeks
ago, the testosterone levels of men, watching sports on TV, went UP when
"their" teams won, and dropped when "their" teams lost.

On a related note, ABC's proposal to the Olympic Committee would have had 4
channels of Olympic broadcast.  ABC itself would have had coverage much like
NBC's turned out.  The other three channels would have had the games
themselves with minimal commentary and all sports covered, comparable to the
"red, white and blue" pay-per-view from the last Winter Games. But NBC
offered more money.
