Actually, I suspect it's more accurate to call Yanni a Jean-Michel 
Jarre wannabe. Personally I doubt if the fuckhead has even heard of 
Brian Eno, let alone has any aspirations towards being Eno (and if he 
has I find the whole thing more risible than I have words to tell). 
Judging by the "music" Yanni "plays", he's the kind of moron who'd 
probably dismiss _Music for Airports_ with the words "It's just the 
same thing over and over again..."

I think a lot of the others in the New Age crowd probably do think 
they're Brian the Godhead, which is also really silly. As a friend of 
mine said, comparing Eno to Stephan Micus, "Eno's got a humour about 
him that's actually totally against the grain of the New Age."
