GOP Convention

Surreal moment in coverage of GOP National Convention in San Diego this
week: A lottery given to determine which groups won the right to protest
in a distant parking lot near the GOP party gathering. Seems that the
city for security reasons is specifically setting up designated places
for protest and one must be an authorized protestor (I can see the
business cards now) to be allowed to congregate in those fenced off
areas. Truth better than fiction...I don't envy fiction writers today.
