I finally found a B & N that had a copy of Erickson's Arc D'X. It was in
Anchorage where I've been vacationing for the lasr few weeks. As I was
reading about Sally H., I was struck by the resemblence to a recent film
which covered the same area, TJ in Paris. Was his affairs there well
documented or did Erickson make up a lot of the general facts? If the
latter, the film whose title I can't recall, (Jefferson in Paris?) seemed
to use a lot of material. Anyone know?
Also a quick thanks to HAG for mentioning Coetzee. I'm on my 4th book of
his, three read while in Alaska.
Let's see. What else. Oh yes. Tom sends his regards. It looks like early '98
before the next novel will be out; a big novel about Alaska. :)
