All notes posted to the list are available from waste.org via ftp. I
also provide a WWW based archive fo thelast 4 years worth of notes
which supports sequential browsing and a basic search facility. So,
the discussions will automatically be preserved for posterity -
whether posterity likes it or not.
I seriously doubt that a book is in prospect (anyway Steven
Weisenburger has done that handsomely already) and I'm certainly not
in the book editing business having a job to do and a PhD to write up
some time this year. But if anything really good emerges we might be
able to convince Pynchon Notes to publish it (assuming that all
contributors can be found and are willing - that's the really hard
part).
While we are on the subject, I've been wondering for a while now
whether Krafft and Duffy would be amenable to assembling some of the
better notes or discussions on this list for publication. What do you
say, John? Want to trawl through the archives?
