Certainly you could have expected to see _some_ reflection of Freydis
(Vreydis?) Eirik's Daughter, prototypical American Girl From Hell,
raising the skraelings' consciousness and then fomenting the murders
of just about everybody who survived the fight.  But no one other than
than Prezmyra (and Eddison did read the sagas) was ever so glorious a
bitch.
