Ever hear of considering your audience?  I say this defensively and yet
have, throughout the dissertation process, felt such an urge to jump ship 
I don't believe I'm still doing this.  But, in the end (no pun), I guess 
this is what I do best (teaching that is, writing is still SO HARD!)  So 
I guess I'm an asshole.  I'll have to learn to like it.
