Could one say that M & D will approach the American Civil War (presumably
one of it's major themes) like GR approaches say Vietnam, namely
indirectly. And maybe M & D will be a direct explication of the "how did
we go so wrong when all the elements were here for diversity". he's
tackled the present, the near past, post-war, pre-WW1, post ww1. M % D
to end it at the beginning?
P.S. Anybody ever see the documentary, "He Conquers Space", a
lovey-dovey account of goold ole Wernher and his rocket program. Pretty
scary stuff. The stuff I was raised on. cough cough cough
Merry weekend everybody.
