I have always disliked "Carmina Burana."  I'll give it another listen.
But perhaps the problem is my jejune aesthetic--I enjoyed Amy Tan's
_Joy-Luck Club_ and its emphasis on the performativity of ethnicity.
Dunno why MantaRay dismisses her as needing "all the help she can get."
