I don't know how it's possible -- not that you necessarily have a soft
British accent and look like a Celtic vagabond -- but somehow A. Ross
sounded quite like you, Steelhead. Worster accused him of a one-eyed
diatribe against capitalism and (wrongly) of a nostalgia for Marxist
societies (I don't know how he cooked up that), and defended "Western
democracies", whose environmentalists haven't, like Ross according to
Worster claimed, been "complicit" with multinational capitalism during 
the last decades. Ross used the verb "converge" when he talked about
the deliberate global maintenance of hunger. (Did not even act arrogant 
this time.)
