I guess what hit me was the apparent connection between Mulder and the 
Lewis Carroll murder/vacuum cleaner salesman in that thru dreams they are 
given "the answers to questions they do not know how to ask yet". From 
Mulder's perspective, we can understand what he is searching for, but for 
that murderer, was he only pushing his own death-wish?  He knows Mulder 
will find him and kill him.   Guess that's what he wanted after all.  One 
more day out in the sun.  Not sure he was involved in Mulder's sister's 
murder after all.
