GR/ CoL49 New Editions (QUESTION)

Greetings,

I remember some talk earlier this year about new editions of both GR and
CoL49 -- possibly critical editions.  Does anyone know anything about this?
I've check Amazon.com and they say the books are available, but have no
information.  I want to know if it's worth the $25 for GR hardcover and
$30(?) for CoL49.  I'm very tempted to get the GR -- even if it's not
critical, just to have a hardcover version -- but the cost of CoL49 hardback
is intimidating.

Any info appreciated!
