Do these rumors of the appearance of a COL49 critical edition mean that
there are now variant texts of COL49 floating about, to be enumerated in
some appendix, and for some neo-Oedipa to chase around the used-book stores
of California after? What a coming-of-age for TRP's little castaway
potboiler! "We set but a name upon the ship, that our hands have built
(with incessant labour) in a decennium...." -j minnich
