Gaddis? Steely

My respect for Mr. Gaddis should be apparent from the long quotation I
recently posted from JR, which the omniscient John Kraftt was the first to
indentify, only moments before Terry Caesar. Like Pynchon after GR, Gaddis
has had a hard time following up on JR. Carpenter's Gothic and A Frolic
just don't seem to measure up--do they?
