Ebonics

Didn't know if ALL you cats out there might be WHITE so I checked in with a
reliable source.

This is what he said:

I'm against Ebonics. White America is so laced with
black slang that it's ceased to be an underground
tongue. Many black hepcats don't even use it.
They (me included) think a black man speaking the Queen's
English is hip.

Check out Bird's "Live at Massey Hall" LP. He's leading
a group composed of Dizzy, Mingus, Bud Powell, and Max Roach.
Only time I ever heard Bird speak. He sounded like a college
educated white boy. Now that was real "soul Brother code".
