It's coming. A fairly long post (although not longer than others which have
appeared here) representing my vision of at least some of the next novel.

I'm in thin air here. I've left the limb completely. But what else can we
do but strike out on our own, given the NEED?

If I'm proven completely wrong, so be it. Being wrong is easier to deal
with than this interminable waiting. I post this warning so that those of
you who find such wild speculations annoying can send it directly to your
kill file, delete it unread, etc.

I've been thinking about posting it on the 28th, in honor of the shuttle
Challenger's demise, ten years ago. (There are rumors that the astronauts
were alive until they hit the ocean floor.) But it's been laying around in
my out box for a month, and I may jettison it earlier then that. I'm
titling it: The 5th Novel, in case you prefer to avoid it.
