	Have gob-stoppers been mentioned?  I have never seen or tasted one,
but by their name they must pretty well fill the mouth. Also, although
this is grisly and please forgive me, do they somehow resemble an eye. Billy 
Prior in Pat Barker's _Regeneration_ enters a WW I trench which has just
been hit by a shell. He picks up a human eye from the floor and says,
"What am I supposed to do with this gob-stopper?"
