Gob-stoppers

Actually, Gob-Stoppers are pretty good, as far as cheap candy goes.
They're sort of like cheap jaw-breakers.  They don't last as long, and the
center is powdery and sweet.  They definitely are not in the same category
as those Brittish things.
Actually, I remember a Brittish candy that Dr. Who liked (my true geeky
roots shine through) called Jelly Babies or something.  I tried them once.
They are the same texture as, say, gummy bears, but taste much worse.
