GR Marathon

The English Dept at Princeton used to hold (and possibly continues to hold) a
marathon reading of GR over a 24-hour period each November in front of the
Lipschitz sculpture "Song of the Vowels" outside the library.  I participated
in 1989 by reading about a half-hour passage, which included the "Shit and
Shinola" section.  It's the only marathon I know of, but there may very well
be others.
