Jeff (Jhildt at aol.com) asks what's up with the _Vineland_ page on our Pynchon
web site (http://www.pomona.edu/pynchon/).

"Under construction" was an optimistic euphemism when we threw it up there,
meaning the term was over & we were shorthanded as our collective identity as a
bunch of Pynchonites was about to dissolve Slothopwise.

In the interim, however, some kindly farflung foax have sent in enough
_Vineland_-related goodies that we're about to refine & launch them in the
intended slot.  We'll also put in links to the new _Pynchon Notes_ page and
other items you all may suggest.  Consider this an imminent rebound in the
offing, then, after a season of hibernation.

Like doctors hoping for referrals, we thank you for your patients.
