oh....and one more thing
a while back i was looking through a catalog 
and saw an add for this lp 
where the band did all pynchon songs from his novels
i didnt pursue this
and havent heard it but 
anyone who is interested in checking it out
the record is put out by K Records....
not sure of the address....but could get it 
and post if anyone wishes------

and one more thing----
what is the page in Gravity's Rainbow that has
the song that supposedly inspired KCobain
to write 'smells like teen spirit'????
   my copy of GR is in oxford, ms--
it's the song that goes like
----so con-tag-ious
----and is about the chicks---
maybe in the casino or,,i'm not sure
