Stoned Empire Monkey B virus

This isn't a virus hoax but a genuine call for help.  A colleague here, an IBM(about 
which I know less than nothing) person has had her hard disk commandeered by 
something called: Stoned Empire Monkey B.  Nasty critter that is impenetrable to 
her disinfecting software.  I know there are some impressive springheads on this 
list, so--does anybody have any advice for my friend?  Great name for a virus, 
though.
