We're going through this right now in Cancun where it's being proposed very
forcefully that we go on Eastern Daylight Savings Time (instead of
Central), which will result in another hour of afternoon light. No one
wants this except the hotel industry. They don't understand the resistance
because they live in an airconditioned world. People here don't want
another hour of afternoon heat. They want the light in the morning when
it's cooler.
