I'm new around here, and hate to be a weenie, and I'm really not trying to
be difficult, but, erm, what? I can get new pair of shoes, or sick, or a
punchline, or a dog-eared copy of _Gravity's Rainbow_ off the shelf, but I
don't *get* _Gravity's Rainbow_, if by that you mean being able to sum it up
in a few pithy well-placed thoughts.
You probably don't mean that.
Or maybe I'm just a moron (I don't get a lot of things).
Since, however, there now appears to be a whole class of errors that I'm all
set to commit (ah, hell), I'd love for somebody to clarify things. Boil
that stew down to the dinner party aside...
