A-and another thing, another thing I never "got," or maybe forgot. Are
the women real? Later, the two recon guys sent to investigate the map
find that there are no women--at least, the ones mentioned on the map,
and yet we've read of "real" incidents from Slothrop's account. Forgive
me, I'm reading through only for the second time and I can't recall how
this is handled/resolved/answered (or if it is) later on.
