 "The more I know about Vollman, the 
scarier he gets (what's that saying the Saracens have about death from 
afar looks horrible, but  blissful the closer one gets-well Willie is not

Perhaps so, but Vollman introduced me to the remarkable Bootwoman Marisa in The
Rainbow Diaries (Stories?) and for that I am grateful - let me recommend it to
all who will hear.
