On the other hand, why?

PS. Goebbels and Spielberg may have different agendas (one selling
Nazi propaganda, the other selling... his films? himself? family
values? the new 'special [US-Ger] relationship'?), but their cinematic
techniques and what I called "propaganda tricks" are most certainly
the same (read: part of the same bag of tricks). Are you seriously
implying some kind of fundamental difference between "propagandizing"
and "directing/producing" as used above?
And I suppose you're not familiar with critiques of "Schindler's List" a
la Claude Landsberg, either....
