Notice Sullivan's clever allusion to the end of Borges' "Pierre Menard",
where the narrator invites us to imagine that _De Imitatione Christi_
was actually written by Celine or Joyce himself... _Paradise Lost_
as written by Dante; the suggestion thrills me thoroughly.
