Sigh.  Being on the Pynchon list with hag might be said to be a "less and
less 'human'" experience, except for the fact that hag, like pop culture, is
utterly and obviously human.  

It's apparently a breach of Netiquette to post private email without asking
for permission, which is what hag just did.  But, since in this case I'm not
really bothered by the act in itself, I'll settle for an apology for his
surliness towards me.
