I can't remember exactly where in GR the Angel over Lubeck appeared.
Seems like it was an experience Group Captain Basher St. Blaise had.
There was also something about "angels" to do with wireless
communication. Help!
Anyway, it sounds like this would be a job for the Archangel Gabriel.
"He" was often charged in dealing with mankind, transmitting important
information, etc. Announcing the coming of John the Baptist and Jesus
himself. Was it also Gabriel who appeared to St. Anne telling her she
would be barren no more and should soon be expecting a little girl who
would become known as the Virgin Mary? Could the angel over Lubeck
possibly be trying to announce the coming of the V-weapon (the Lubeck raid
being what really set Hitler off and itching for revenge). Kind of
perverse imagery I would say. Does this tie in with "angels" over the
wireless? Gabriel is the patron saint of communication I believe. And to
toss one more stick into the fire, St Blaise, if I remember rightly, is
the patron saint of _throats_. Or was it _sore throats_? Anyway you
pray to him to intercede on behalf of that ailment.
