Sexist absolutely, agreed.  The feminist movement circa 1969-70 was not 
created by Nixon Republicans alone.  Lots of Easy Riders helped out. 
 Homophobic absolutely.  We're talkin street-fightin men (though Mick 
himself is an interesting case...) not to mention Stokely Carmichael (a-and 
what about that Tiny Tim?).  I personally recall an overabundance of 
testosterone all around, macho warriors on both sides giving (a) rise to 
each other.
