By the way, I have heard several reports that Irvine is now a

`Holocaust revisionist' arguing that the number of Jews exterminated

in the death camps is far lower than the millions usually claimed and

I think also reported to have downplayed the involvement of many of

those implicated in the war crimes and their intention to exterminate

all Jews. I have no idea whether this is an accurate report of his

views. Does anyone else have the scoop.

Irving's new book is about Goebbels (St. Martin's Press I think-the only 
publisher who would publish-In the UK it's being published under Irving's 
own imprint-not too sure what an "imprint" is?) and most of the reviews 
I've read call it reprehensible-One of the reviewers claims Irving has 
dubbed himself a "closet fascist", sympathizing with the Nazis but 
criticizing their overzealousness.  I remember reading _Hitler's War_ and 
didn't Irving claim Hitler knew less about the Holocaust and/or didn't 
actually order extermination, concentration camps, etc.?!  Amazing these 
goofballs are still around.
