I perfectly understand the thrust of the original "them" post on the
subject. I'm saying that it makes no real sense.  With the V2's innate
lack of precision -- even by its designers and launchers -- the moving of
its putative ground zero by anyone in the Brit gov't offered absolutely
no assurance of hitting an "undesirable" target.

Is it possible that the White Visitation never shut down?  Is this rumor of 
a conspiracy to retarget V2s an effort to make the germans think that the 
british think that they (the germans) are so technologically superior that 
they (the british) think they can control targetting with such precision? 
 Leading to a false sense (among the germans) of technical superiority and a 
redoubling of efforts which they (the british) know to be strategically 
meaningless?  Time past and time future *is* contained in time present, 
after all (as a famous brit once pointed out...)
