Rainbow god circle

Brian McCary wrote me a private email which mentioned the aura around
street lamps. This prodded me into imagining the rainbow girdling the
earth as some kind of halo or aura. Maybe the image is nothing more
than Schein-Aula but if gravity's rainbow is meant to be taken as some
sort of spiritual(ist) emanation from old Mother Earth that might go
some way to explaining the faces on the mountain sides and the souls
in every stone.
By the way, no one has yet tied any of this title talk (particularly
the quote which started it all off, which mentioned both the earth's
body and its soul) into Sterne's definition of gravity
a peculiar carriage of the body to disguise the infirmities of
the mind

And though Earthliness forget you,
To the stilled Earth say: I flow.
To the rushing water speak: I am.
