Social Text issue

All I can say is:  God bless Stanely Fish (um, I think he has).  When I 
read of The Sokal incident, I tried thinking of ways in which to argue 
him coherently (as if).  Fish spoke clearly and eloquently, putting Sokal 
in a very unflattering light regarding the physisicist's superior 
attitude about that which he does not comprehend (doesn't further any 
goals to "trangress boundaries," I must say;  only widens the gulf).  
What amazed me most what Fish's non-defensive posture.  He spoke only 
against an ill-conceived idea, not of the "mistake" of publishing Sokal's 
piece in _Social Text_.  And brilliantly.
