What does this mean, anyway?  For instance, what propositions can be derived 
therefrom?  And does it differ from Ayn Rand's "existence exists"?

We have a Latin construction (res - realitas) with a Greek predicate 
(epistastai - to stand out from) -----

Some of the Romance languages use both roots (Ser/Estar in Spanish).  They 
have different meanings, no?

Perhaps we should leave ontology to stand alone....
