No no no! The octopus is a counter-hegemonic device deconstructing 
the phallogocentric "one man, one penis!" hegemony; by appropriating, 
multi-tentactically (new jargon) the space formerly reserved for 
singular spindulations (new jargon); the octopus thus transgresses 
the boundaries of the dominant discourse by, as it were, othering the 
other, inverting the hymen, or not.
