Well, I heartily recommend Cleaver's `Soul on Ice', a collection of
essays most of which were written when he was in prison and while he
was still a member of the Nation of Islam (like Malcolm X he
eventually left that organization). The essay on white women is the
best of the bunch.

I cannot remember precisely but I think Malcolm X's autobiography
(actually it was ghost-written by Alex Hailey) also touches on the way
blacks were tempted by whites (n.b. that's a transitive verb there as
Cleaver's claim is that many white men used to dangle their women in
front of blacks).
