posting from memory here, but I believe the Zappa/Monkees session is
appocryphal. Will check the (obsessively-detailed) FAQ over at a.f.f-z and
let you know.
As I recall, there IS a Zappa/Nesmith connection somewhere, perhaps having
to do with a post-Monkees productin of some sort...but probably having
nothing whatever, alas, to do with TRP.
