To all GR fans

I've been reading this list with great interest since the GRGR began, and
I'd like to thank everyone on it for sharing ideas.

I'm a student at Sarah Lawrence College, and I'm currently doing an
independent project for my literature class examining Gravity's Rainbow, in
part using the list as a starting point.  I've become completely drawn into
and fascinated by the culture and mystique surrounding GR and Pynchon in
general.  I'd really like to investigate what makes up a Pynchon admirer,
and what exactly it is about Gravity's Rainbow that makes people respond
with such fanaticism.

To this end, I'd like to informally survey or correspond with some of you
folks out on the list, just about who you are and what draws you into
Pynchon's world.  I won't waste any more of the list's bandwidth with my
