Intutive, but also highly subjective. Science appears to fall in to
the "bad guys" category a lot, but I'd contend science is also a 
revolutionary act (Enzian). Galileo & other fought the Pope, Darwin 
fought the church, usw. Granted, I'm a little less paranoid
than TRP about science's role in human history.

Yes, but I don't think it's an indictment of science. Rather, an
indictment
of those who rationalize inhumanity in the name of science. Pointsman is
a perfect example. Blicero too. And let's not forget V...
