Indeed what is science but what we know about the different ways of the world
at a given period? Science is part and parcel of history. If I remember rightly,
on a previous posting, you said the point  was atoms could be split. However,
come to think of it, they could be split some twenty odd centuries ago and this
didn't stop someone from calling them atoms because then no-one to the best of
their knowledge could imagine it otherwise. Makes a lot of difference to us
though.

BTW where or what are  outer BOOMwad and disenfranchised BOOMwadians?
