The only entities that I see attempting to "do away with 
individualism" are corporate. In spite of right wing assertions to 
the contrary, I don't see much in "liberal" government controlling 
individuals. I see the more important political dichotomy as between 
the supremacy of corporate versus individual rights. Call me old 
fashioned, but "tort reform?" How a about a little respect, as you 
put it, for the "individual"
