Dear Pynchon-l,
Whooooops! Sorry.
I ment to send this address in a message
to one individual who had asked for the
URL; it is a meta level of the SavageWorks
Arts site running from San Fransico; it has
several hundered meta-levels, and this was
one of the most difficult to find.
However, instead of going out in the body
of one message, it was sent as the subject
header of the next (as still blank message)
in which I ment to post a question to to
the GRGR: "to what extent can anyone imagine
Pynchon writing this in "comic book frames"?
How does this express itself in the texture
of the text?"
But I wish to appologize to anyone who ends up
in the 9th circle of hell for a minute and a
half.(The joke is you must take enough time to
read each bit if you are to pass through the other end,
i.e., there is no short cut to reading, etc.) Might
I suggest that "Moxie/Savageworks" is more interesting
then that single pain-in-the-bum
meta-level, and is in anycase unrelated to
Pynchon. Except in so much as there is, I believe,
somewhere, a b&w photograph of a cuboard full of
coffee cans (which I'm sure post-dates TRP's by
twenty-five years.They aren't even Hills Bros.)
And unrelated except in so far that everything is
related, like the British Royal Family.
