I think a Ruptured Duck is an *honorable* discharge.  It was also the name
of a bomber in some WWII movie I caught about 5 minutes of last Sunday.  

And then of course there's this definition:

               Ruptured Duck

          2 oz. creme de noyaux
          2 oz. banana liqueur
          2 oz. light cream

     Shake, strain into lowball glass.
