For all you Munchkins out there (you know who you are):

    Well foax, I had already tried using gawk and was amazed to find
    it also failed. But when Daniel posted I thought for at least a
    few micro-seconds and decided that Richard Stallman would never
    ever, err, . . . sorry, . . . Richard Stallman would *never*,
    *ever* ship anything so crap! And yes on retesting I find that
    gawk works fine - my test was at fault.

So, returning back from the Munchkin-land and *in short* . . .

Access to the archive has been restored. All should now be totally
ginger-peachy with a moist, creamy aftertaste and just a hint of
