Well, depends on the newsgroup... I must put in a word here for 
alt.movies.kubrick, where (BTW) there has recently been discussion on 
Pynchon's reclusiveness in comparison to Kubrick's... As an 
indication of the quality of discussion on a.m.k, consider that one 
of the questions on its FAQ is "What are the similarities between the 
aesthetics of Stanley Kubrick and James Joyce?"
