Why oh why is "Cherokee" a racist slam if it was written by a black
jazzman? My maternal g'ma, born in Talequah, Indian Territory and related
to the Bushyheads (last full blood chiefs of the western Cherokee)...

Was it because they had slaves (as part of the family) or because
they fought for the South during the War of Northron Aggro?
